Creativity Training

In another example of his breadth, and drawing from years of teaching problem-solving techniques developed by Edward de Bono and other pioneers of creative thinking, Bayliss consulted with 1st Maker Space, a ground-breaking makerspace initiative in Indianapolis and helped deliver creativity training to hundreds of inner-city youth in over 60 workshops. One of his roles as creativity training consultant was to write articles that explored creativity, and the importance of hands-on learning in education. Written primarily for parents and teachers, these articles range from descriptions of creativity tests and problem-solving exercises to discussions of current trends in hands-on learning, and the efficacy of developing a “maker mindset”.
